We’re Sorry! It’s Been Too Long!!!

Hello everyone! We want to apologize for our lack of updates in the past few months. A lot has been happening at WAY and we are making it a point to make monthly updates. I am going to dedicate this post to all of the work Samantha and I have been doing since our last post. We have been staying nice and busy, traveling and loving every second of it. Enjoy the post and check out some of the changes regardling our location and specials!!!

I thought we could dedicate this post to some not so “regular” piercings, as well as some “basic” piercings with great jewelry optiona that we have had the pleasure of performing in the past few months. Multiple times we have clients who ask for something “different”. A majority of piercings have been done numerous times but every so once in awhile unique anatomy or jewelry style allow us to do some really fun! Enjoy!

Healed Inverse Vertical Labret

The young lady above is sporting a beautifully well healed inverse vertical labret. We have done a number of these piercings and even though they can have a lengthy healing process for some, they are extremely complementary to the lips.

The young lady below is a regular at our studio. Kelly came in with her momma a few months back to get pierced and was interested in getting an inverse vertical labret like the young lady in the photo above. After talking to a few colleagues about different jewelry styles and placement, Kelly and I decided to take a slightly different approach to this piercing. Kelly is sporting a straight titanium labret stud with a small titanium disk, the very same style of jewelry used for a traditional labret. We noticed a much easier and less problematic healing process with this jewelry choice and will be offering it to clients in the future.

Kelly’s mom was just as awesome and decided that she needed a little “metal” in her life. She went with a basic, but not so common philtrum piercing. She is sporting a beautiful 16g prongset white opal.

The “Monroe” piercing is definitely one of our more common oral piercings. I hear a lot of people say that not everyone can “pull them off” but this young lady is having no such problem! Sam and I agree that placement for this piercing is key! Too high and it’s lost when someone smiles, too low and you run the risk of gum damage or snagging.

Jessica has been posted on our blog previously but we felt the need to post her again after she picked up these gorgeous CZ Plumeria Flower ends for her cheeks! We love working so closely with the Anatometal crew to make all of your jewelry dreams possible!

Nostril Piercings are one of our most common piercings at WAY. The human nose can vary so much that no two nostril piercings are ever the same. The two young ladies below wanted to put a little twist on the basic nostril piercing and decided to get paired piercings. From the photos you can see the ladies went slightly different routes and I feel like they suite them and their anatomy quite well!

Last year the Industrial seemed to be one of our most commonly requested ear cartilage piercings. This year we have had numerous requests for the forward helix. The two gals below are sporting a well healed 16g Industrial as well as a Industrial/ Forward Helix combo!

The piercing below is a different take on the traditional Industrial. This clients anatomy wouldn’t accommodate a “normal” Industrial so Sammy ordered her a custom surface barbell that would mock the placement and visual aesthetic. The barbell actually has 90 degree bends on both ends and exits out the back of the clients helix. We really hope to get a healed photo of this little one in the future!

14g "Staple" Industrial

The Anti-Tragus Piercing pictured below is a fairly uncommon piercing. The client below had ideal anatomy and was stoked to try something different. We hope to get a healed photo of this little guy in the future!

Sam and I LOVE doing Conch Piercings like the one below. With the right jewelry choice I feel like this particular piercing can be both subtle and very complimentary to the ears anatomy. This piercing can be performed at numerous angles to change the aesthetic and dictate different jewelry options and I think that is one main reason Sam and I jump on the chance to do such a piercing.

The Cartilage Piercing below we have started calling the “Feltcher” a friend and regular of ours came up with the name and it has kinda stuck around the shop. This piercing exits behind the rook and is pretty much a lower placed helix piercing. Healing is relatively quick with this piercing as it isn’t as prone to snagging and rests parallel to the side of the face. Also pictured is a beautifully healed 14g Conch piercing =]

Fresh 14g "Feltcher" or Deep Helix Piercing.

The little one below was definitely a firecracker. Samantha had the joy of piercing her earlobes a few months back and she recently came in to switch out the ends on her Threadless posts. We are stoked to work with minors who understand what their piercing experience will entail and are capable of following aftercare as well as give consent to their piercing experience. We encourage parents to wait to have their children’s ears pierced until the piercee is able to articulate what they want and fully understand what will happen during their piercing.

Last but not least we have a few paired tongue piercings. These piercing, unlike a center or traditionally placed piercing, actually pass through the muscle of the tongue. This can lead to increased swelling as well as discomfort during the healing process. The first set of photos is of a healed set at 4 weeks after their downsize and the third photo are a fresh set performed by Sam during her guest spot at Nomad in San Francisco, Ca. We often enjoy consulting with people about these piercings to inform them of the possible risks involved so if you are enticed by these beauties drop on in and lets talk!

Now onto the fun stuff!!! We have been busy the last few weeks and have some photos to prove it!!! Enjoy the large variety of piercings we have had the chance to perform and check out the videos that some of our clients have shot of their piercing procedures!

Healed 14g Industrial

Above is a standard 14g Industrial. This particular client has had her Industrial a little over a year and has switched to a new piece of jewelry. The second photo shows the angles at which this particular piercing was performed. Angles can make or break an Industrial and here at WAY we love to show off our angles!!!

Fresh 12g Navel Piercing sporting some beautiful titanium prongset CZ jewelry from Anatometal!

Here is a close up of the navel piercing featured above!

Sam had the chance to pierce this young ladies navel. Even though WAY is located in a beach town we don’t seem to have a big demand for navel piercings. So when they walk in the door we are happy to greet them with a selection of gorgeous Navel pieces like the one posted above!

The young woman above has had her nostril pierced for a few months and recently decided to upgrade to a 2mm White Opal set in 18k Yellow Gold!

We are trying to up our stock of gold jewelry for initial piercings. The price of gold can be some what intimidating but we try to encourage our clients to see it as an investment in a material that has never lost value!

Here's another view of the fresh 18g Double Nostril w/ Bronze Anodized Titanium CBR'S

We encourage our clients to start nostril piercings with straight mini threadless barbell. Not only are they easier to care for and more low profile they also lead to quicker healing times and less complications. Nostrils can an will heal with rings but it can be a much longer healing process for some. Jarrett here was up for the challenge and did so with an awesome jewelry choice!

This 14g Vertical Labret is brand spankin new!

Here is a close up of the Vertical Labret above.

The vertical labret above is a good example of what one might expect a brand new lip piercing to look like. Most people are caught off guard by the extra length on the post upon looking at their new piercing. Almost all oral piercings swell and as a result we have to accommodate with a little extra post length. Don’t worry though! In 2 to 4 weeks you can come in to have us downsize your jewelry to a more comfortable and aesthetically pleasing size!

Here is one of our favorite New Leaf Employees Kas sporting her relatively new 16g Surface Piercing.

A little close up action of Kas' Surface Piercing

Here is a wonderfully healed Surface Piercing. This young lady lost one of her disks recently and came in to have it replaced. We snapped this photo before putting on the Disk to show just how a well healed surface piercing should look!

Here is another look at the same piercing after reinstalling the little 3mm Titanium Disk.

These 12g "Clavical" Surface Piercings are on their way to healing. At one month they are still sitting flush and don't exhibit any signs of rejection.

Here is a side view of the "Clavical" Surface Piercings

Ever since we have opened we have had a relatively constant flow of clients looking for surface piercings. We love that our clients are willing to dedicate their time to the proper aftercare that these types of piercings demand. Above are 2 examples of what some people call “Sideburn” piercings as well as a pair of diagonal chest surface piercings that are roughly 1 month old in the photo. Below is a video one of our clients made of her nape piercing procedure! Check it out!

Here is a different approach to the Eyebrow piercing. Big thanks to Parker for letting us here at WAY mix things up a bit!

Tida has been featured on the WAY Blog a few times and today we are showcasing her healed 4 nostril piercings and Gorgeous vertical labret! Thanks again Tida!

Here is another view of Tida's Nostrils. Marking these took a minute but the outcome was totally worth it!

We always seem to be doing something new with Parker and Tida. Above are a few photos of their new adornments. Thanks again Parker and Tida!!!

Paul, also known as Pauly Unstoppable, used to have ears stretched close to 4". After Stretching for close to 18 years he decided to start all over. Big thanks to Pauly for having us help start the process all over again!

Paul’s Boy Toy Alex was nice enough to document the piercing by shooting some video! Check out the videos below by clicking on the links!

Well Folks! Thanks for dropping by the WAY Body Arts Blog! Hopefully we will have another post before the new year! Happy Holidays!!!

We Strive for QUALITY!

Those of you who have visited WAY Body Arts in person know that we don’t have the most ideal of locations. Without a ton of foot traffic we don’t expect to be the most high volume shop in the area and that’s ok with us. Samantha and I have always been focused on the quality of work we are producing and not the quantity. We want each client to feel special and to walk away with not only a great piercing but an awesome experience as well. If you are a local, or just visiting Santa Cruz, and want an amazing piercing, performed by a nice and knowledgeable piercer, at a reasonable price… then look no further than WAY Body Arts!

It has been awhile since the last post so we thought it was damn near time we make a new one with all the rad work we have had the pleasure of doing on our amazing clients… we have a ton of photos so we will be doing another entry completely focused on large gauge initial piercings so stay tuned! Enjoy!!!

The young lady to the left is sporting a new “Anti-Eyebrow” surface piercing done by Sam a few weeks ago. We have  been doing a fair share of these lately (as you will see below!) and i think they go great with people who aren’t afraid of a little asymmetry in their life. This particular client is wearing a 16g flat bottom surface bar from Anatometal. The flat bottom and thinner gauge of the jewelry help reduce the chances of rejection and can help minimize scarring if the piercing were to migrate toward the surface.

Stephanie (pictured below) is also sporting a brand new 16g anti eyebrow piercing. Her friend Ana took a short video of the piercing that is posted up on youtube. Feel free to check out the video at:

I had the chance to do another Anti – Eyebrow while working at Gold Coast Tattoo & Piercing in Monterey, Ca last week. We used similar jewelry to the two piercings above but went with 2.5mm Bezel set CZ gems instead of Titanium disks. You may notice some slight swelling and faint bruising in the second photo. It isn’t uncommon for these piercings to cause minor bruising after the initial piercing but don’t let that deter you the bruising only lasts a few days. Some clients have bruising almost immediately while others will have slight discoloration days later. You can clearly tell from the photo that this young lady doesn’t mind one bit!

16g Anti-Eyebrow Surface Piercing

Jaime (pictured below) has been in a previous post for his awesome “third eye” surface piercing. His piercing is healing perfectly and he recently came in for an initial 9.5mm Labret. Lets hope his lip heals as quick, if not quicker, than his third eye! Thanks Jaime!

The Nape Surface Piercing/ Surface Anchors featured below has been an ongoing project by Sam. The client healed the initial Surface piercing and loved his experience as well as the easy healing process that he came back for a few more Surface piercings. Sam through this great idea his way and he loved it! The top 2 5mm Disks and the lowest 3mm Disk are attached to 14g surface anchors while the Center 2 disks are attached to a 12g 1″ flat bottom surface barbell from Anatometal!

We can thank one of our clients from Piercing Pagoda at the Capitola Mall for sending this client to us. This young lady was looking to get her eyebrow pierced and our wonderful client encouraged her to come to our shop. She had purchased jewelry at the mall and was hoping to get pierced with the piece at our shop. After a long talk about appropriate jewelry materials, sizes and placement she opted to purchase a gorgeous NeoMetal CZ Curve for her initial piercing. I don’t think she could have picked a better piece of jewelry. Purchasing jewelry at the mall is never a good idea… especially if you plan on wearing it in a healing piercing. Mall jewelry is often made of low-grade stainless steel or of materials that can’t be properly sterilized and should always be considered costume or novelty jewelry.

The gentleman below had his eyebrow pierced less than 2 months ago with a 16g 3/8″ threadless titanium curved barbell and it has healed exceptionally well.  We are planning on giving it another month and then stretching it up to a 14g curve with slightly large beads…

Sam did this bullet proof bridge a few weeks ago on her friend Chris. Chris has had his bridge done 2 previous times but both times prior it never sat perfectly level and he removed it. Sam and i agree that this particular piercing can make some people look rather intimidating but on Chris i think it fits perfectly!

Adam is a regular at the shop for tattoos and recently decided he wanted his nostril pierced. After Sam gave him the run down on aftercare and reasons why we prefer to pierce initially with 18g studs he opted for the post. After a few months he came back in and we switched out small seam ring he really wanted… i have to say the ring goes exceptionally well with his mustache… haha…

Healed 18g Nostril with Steel Seam Ring

Sammy has been doing a fair share of multiple nostril piercings lately. The next 3 groups of photos are examples of both fresh nostril piercings with studs as well as a client who added a second piercing in front of her first piercing with a ring. Even though the nose can be pretty asymmetrical in most cases, it is ideal to match the angles on paired nostril piercings to give the appearance of symmetry… Sam is AMAZING at matching angles!

Tida (pictured above) healed her first nostril piercing with a 2mm bezel set White Opal and recently added a second piercing with a slightly smaller 1.5mm bezel set White Opal!

Both of these ladies are sporting fully healed Double Nostril piercings. The woman above with the lovely dreads had both piercings done initially with 18g 5/16″ threadless barbells. The third photo you can see how well the angles match.  The young lady below had only the forward nostril piercing done at our shop. It was pierced initially with a ring and healed perfectly. Just goes to show that some people, particularly those who are great at following aftercare), can heal nostril piercings with rings initially!

This particular post is getting pretty huge and we still have so many more photos to post! I think I will make a separate post of all of the initial large gauge procedures we have been doing lately. The following photos are of a few basic nose and lip piercings…. Enjoy and please stay tuned for another post focused almost completely on large gauge procedures!

Parker is no stranger to the WAY Blog and today he is making another appearance with his SUPER FIERCE “PARKER BITES!!!” Our friend Parker was sad that he had to retire his lowbrets so he decided to have two upper lip piercings done for his birthday. This placement is fairly uncommon for paired “monroe” piercings and are often called “angel bites” for some odd reason. We here at WAY find it hilarious the names people come up with for piercings so we told Parker to name the new additions to his body anything he wanted… We now present to you… PARKER BITES!!!! hahaha!

Sam’s client above healed this super cute vertical labret and recently came in to downsize her jewelry. She is now rocking a Titanium 1/4″ Curved Barbell w/ 5/32″ Ti Beads from Anatometal. We try to carry a wide range of different length posts to fit any anatomy that may walk in the door, and if we don’t have what you need we can special order it without any extra cost! The client below who was also pierced by Sam obviously has much fuller lips and is now sporting a 3/8″ curve in her healed Vertical Labret.

p.s. if you look closely at the first photo you will see some amazing conch piercings on this client… we didn’t do the piercings but they are a great alternative to a traditional pair of ear lobe piercings!

Last but not least we have 2 photos of a fresh 14g Septum piercing done by Sam. This miss was too cute not too post, so enjoy not only the new 14g 5/16″ Titanium Circular Barbell through her septum but her amazing freckles and smile as well!

Well Internetz I hope everyone is enjoying the gorgeous weather! And we want to send a big HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all those papas out there! We will be making another post soon so stay tuned for an entry with a focus on large gauge piercings!

Until next time (which will probably be tomorrow! ha!) be well and don’t forget to smile!

Time to take a photo dump!

Long time no photo!  As promised…a new post, FULL of great piercings Mateo and I have done the last couple of weeks.  We’ve been pretty busy, and if you’ve come into the shop recently you’ve seen why.  We’ve revamped the front desk area at the shop, and we’re not even done yet!  We’ve got a brand new jewelry case that we’re going to try and fill with many pretties, and we’re going to build some new bench seating for the waiting area.  Come in and check out our progress!

ON TO THE PHOTOS!

First up, an industrial Mateo did while he was in San Diego.  This photo was taken the day after the piercing was done.

This industrial is fresh.  The client chose to have the bar and ball ends anodized a nice solid blue color!

This industrial is also fresh.  We did not do the tragus!

Above are all great examples of what your ear should resemble if you want to get a traditional industrial piercing.  The last photo is an example of what I consider to be OK, but not optimal anatomy.  The fold of her ear drops off pretty dramatically, and this means that the angles are much more limited.  If you want an industrial with a more extreme angle, you must have enough ear to support it!

Above is a photo of two cartilage piercings.  We only did the lower one.  I like taking photos of piercings we do that have to match another pre-existing piercing, because it is sometimes pretty darn difficult to get them to match up perfectly.  I think this match came out very nicely!

The piercing in the very center of this photo is called a Snug.  These piercings are also very anatomy dependent.  If you do not have a very defined ridge to pierce, it can make the attempt to heal this piercing very difficult.  This client does not have an incredibly prominent ridge, but she was dedicated to making it work.  This photo was taken a week or so after the piercing was done.

It is a bit hard to tell in this photo, but the barbell this client had us install in her navel is a gorgeous chocolate-y bronze color!

This double navel is on another of Mateo’s clients from when he was in San Diego.  Big CZ gems on top, and plain balls on bottom…super cute!

This hip surface piercing was a re-do!  The client had healed the piercing previously with a curved barbell, which is pretty miraculous considering that surface piercings done with appropriate jewelry (surface bars) don’t always work out!  The piercing was done with intention to hide the old scars, and it succeeds pretty well.

This facial surface piercing was also a re-do!  The scarring is a bit more prominent on this one, but the jewelry hides it relatively well.  There are two different sized discs for added awesomeness!

This client was awesome.  She came in wanting this piercing, and I needed to order the jewelry for it.  The jewelry showed up a couple days later, and we did the piercing!  It came out awesome, and I am excited to see how well it heals.

This client took a shine to Mateo when he was working up at Cold Steel in SF! The thumbnail is a close-up of his eyebrow piercing, done with gemmed curved barbell!

Now here…a rarity in terms of requests from the average walk-in client.  A 4g tongue piercing!  From what I know, this client wanted to gear up for an eventual tongue splitting.  I (Sammy) am interested in the same procedure, and I had Mateo do a 4g tongue piercing on myself a couple weeks ago.  I will have photos of that later!  Meeeep!

This double nostril was done with a more atypical placement, with one above the other as opposed to the more common one behind the other.

One of the nights Mateo was in San Diego, he hadn’t done many piercings until this young lady walked in the door and asked for an 8g septum piercing!!  :)   Super awesome!  We are always super stoked to have people ask for non-traditional piercings, or things done larger than 14g!

Like a unicorn, this piercing is extremely rare.  It’s called an “ashley” piercing, or in more obvious terms the inverse vertical lip piercing.  Imagine a vertical lip piercing…turned around so the bottom end rests inside of the mouth as opposed to outside of the mouth.  They are harder to heal than a traditional vertical lip piercing, but for the work it takes to heal…it pays out in novelty and uniqueness!

Last but not least, an old client of mine who has been getting pierced by Mateo each time he goes down to San Diego.  The new piercing in this photo is the philtrum piercing.  We LOVE doing these.  I may be biased, because it was the first piercing I ever got, but these almost always look gorgeous…especially on ladies, where it accentuates the upper lip and draws attention to the mouth.

PHEW!  I think that’s it for now.

Remember:  We want to meet yo mama!  Bring her in with you when you get pierced, and we’ll give you both $5 Off whatever piercings either of you get!

Ear Project Updates!

I believe some time ago we posted some photos of ear piercings we had done with multiple barbells or glass plugs in preparation for some cool ear projects that our clients had requested.  Well, we had the great opportunity to be able to swap out the jewelry for two of them this past week!  Check out the photos below!

Above: 14g 3-turn Helix Spiral with

Lime Green Prong Set Fauxpal Gems and Titanium Spiral Anodized Gold!

Above: 14g Orbital with a Hand Bent D-Ring

Above: 2-point Conch to Helix Orbital

Sporting a 14g Circular Barbell with 3mm Disc Ends

We offer all manner of ear piercings for all of our clients as long as their anatomy can support it!

Believe it or not, not everyone can get a traditional “Industrial” piercing.  I’ve had to turn down a lot of clients for that particular piercing this past month due to unsuitable anatomy.  It’s a total bummer when you can’t have something that looks so simple as a bar across your ear, but there really is more to doing the piercing successfully than poking holes and sticking jewelry in.  If you aren’t sure whether your anatomy is suited for a piercing, come in and let us take a look!  If your anatomy won’t be able to support the piercing, we may be able to find a different placement or style of industrial or orbital that WILL work!  The options really are endless!

Here are some other piercings that we’ve done recently and got to snag photos of!

Above: This is my sister!  She recently came in to get this piercing, called a “Smiley”!  After it had been healed for about a week, she needed to have something a bit classier than the plain steel ball I had originally installed, so we switched it out to this cute little copper colored ball!  :) (Note: We have nothing to do with the side lip piercing in this photo…)

This is a healed side lip piercing that I did quite some time ago.  She recently came in to get her jewelry downsized to something more snug and form fitting.  It looks great!

Just the other day, Mateo installed another anchor in our awesome regular, Claudia!  The top two are healed, and the bottom one is fresh.  If her others are any indication of how well this bottom one will turn out, we can expect awesome results!

These awesome 0g gauge cartilage piercings were done by Mateo a little less than a week ago.  The client is wearing green colored glass plugs backwards for ease of comfort.

That’s all for now, folks!  Don’t forget, the previous entry contains our $5 OFF coupon, valid to use toward ANY piercing for the rest of this month!

How to hide your piercings…

Good afternoon blog readers!  Today, we’re going to talk a little bit about hiding your piercings!

We have had our fair share of people decide they can’t get something because they need to hide it, or talk about how they wish they could get pierced, but they can’t for whatever reason.  This post is for those people.  There are ways of hiding many different piercings.  In the piercing business, we achieve this level of piercing camouflage by using glass jewelry, or skin toned “hider” ends.

Below, I have two prime examples of using glass jewelry to hide piercings.  First, Parker!  Our regular customer, turned fabulous friend, who is wearing retainers in almost all of his facial piercings, except for his septum which is discreetly flipped up into his nose.  Can you spot all of them?

I’ll bet you noticed his various lip piercings, which are obvious mostly due to the semi-translucent o-rings that ensure the jewelry doesn’t slip out on accident.  But could you tell he also has both of his nostrils pierced?  One is sticking out just a tad, which makes it easily noticed to the trained eye, but when they sit flush, they are almost undetectable!

Next example…ME!  From this:To This:

Me on the left and my mom is on the right!

The reason for my use of the retainers was not to hide them for my mothers sake, or for any job, but so I wouldn’t lose my piercings while undergoing a minor surgery.  This is another useful quality of glass jewelry.  If you have to get x-rays, MRI, CAT scan, surgery, etc.  The glass jewelry will not interfere with any of their equipment, is unlikely to cause any harm to you in the likelihood that there are complications and the crazy paddle machines are needed.

Pros:

+  Easy to clean

+  Can be used to hide piercings

+  Can be worn during medical procedures

+  Cost effective!  ($5-15/each depending on the size & style)

Cons:

-  Fragile (will break if dropped on hard floors)

-  Can only be secured with o-rings (which can fall off)

They’re definitely pretty handy!  Always something to keep in mind when you are considering getting a piercing or anticipate a situation where inert/concealable jewelry is needed!

In other news, Mateo and I have been taking a fair amount of photos recently, so we will be back in soon with a proper photo update of some more recent work!

Much Love!

We are still running the Valentines Special, so come in before it’s over!  For a limited time only, you can get pink, purple and red gems for the price as a plain ball end, and get those risque piercings for cheaper!  Do it before Valentine’s Day and surprise your special someone with something new!  :)

On to photos of work we’ve done recently.  We know you’re all constantly on the edges of your seats waiting for our next installment of awesome piercings, so here ya go:

Meet Julian!  Friends with our other client Sila, they both came in one day and Julian got a super fabulous philtrum piercing by me (Sammy)!  I loved the super blingy fuschia gem we used!

We also got to check up on Sila’s nape that we posted a little while ago.  It looks like it’s healing up well!  She came in yesterday and left with a new rook piercing as well!  Photos of that will come when it’s had time to settle in.  :)

Next up: Another rad surface piercing by Mateo!

This was done on a friend of ours.  He came all the way from Soledad for this little gem.  We used a teeny little 16g surface bar from Anatometal, with these fancy little black discs we custom ordered for him from Industrial Strength.  Came out wonderfully!  Hopefully he’ll be back later and we can get some photos again after it has had time to heal.

Above is a 16g Septum piercing by Mateo.  The client chose this jewelry.  A snug fitted circular barbell that doesn’t overpower her cute face!

A friend of the septum above, this young lady requested a monroe piercing.  It took a couple tries to get the mark where she wanted, but after that the piercing went smoothly, with very little discomfort to her!  She was a bit nervous before we got started, but she didn’t feel much until I was tightening the jewelry!  Sometimes, surprisingly enough, tightening the jewelry is the most uncomfortable part of the piercing.  We try our best to be gentle!  :)

Up next…a whole SLEW OF EAR PIERCINGS!

We love doing ear piecings!  In these days where you can go to the mall and get ear lobe piercings for less than $20 it’s hard to convince people to spend the extra dollars to have them done by a professional, but when we do, the results are always great!

Ear lobe piercings are pretty resilient piercings, but if you don’t start them out with appropriate jewelry and aftercare, they can take quite awhile to heal.  Start your piercings off the right way, with high quality jewelry and a proper aftercare routine!

And last but certainly not least, another philtrum piercing!  We’ve gotten to do a lot of these recently, and they’re so fun!  My favorite thing about this piercing, is that it really accentuates your lips!  :)

Ta-ta for now, interwebs!  We will be back again with more photos later!

Don’t forget to stop by for the trunk show!  There will be TONS of cool stuff to look at and even more cool stuff to buy for your special somebody!
